COOKED (formerly EnduraFuel) is a training and fueling app for endurance athletes, operated by Endura Performance ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we never sell your data, and health data is never used for advertising.
Your email address and sign-in identity, handled by our authentication provider (Auth0). If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identity those services share — we never see your passwords for those accounts.
Workouts you sync from Strava or intervals.icu, import as files, or log manually — including power, pace, heart rate, duration and derived metrics like training load. We use it to score your sessions, adapt your plan and set your fueling targets.
With your permission, COOKED reads eight types from Apple Health, read-only: sleep analysis, heart-rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, active energy burned, body mass, height, date of birth and biological sex. Readiness comes from the first three; the rest size your fuelling, hydration and calorie targets.
Apple Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties for their purposes, and never sold. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health.
Meals you log by photo, barcode, text or voice, plus recipes and templates you save. Photos you log and the text you send the coach are processed by Anthropic to identify the food and write your guidance. They are not used to train anyone’s models. Voice logging uses Apple’s speech recognition, which sends the audio to Apple to be transcribed and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. You see and can edit the transcript before anything is submitted.
Your chats with the coach are stored so the conversation works across sessions. The coach also keeps a short rolling summary of facts you've told it (a "memory," capped in size). It stores what you said — never speculation — and it is deletable from Account, wiped when you delete your account, and never used in analytics.
Your coaching interview answers (goals, schedule, injuries, medical flags) shape your plan. Menstrual-cycle tracking is opt-in only and gets the same treatment as the coach memory: deletable, wiped on account deletion, never in analytics.
A home location and a race location, if you enter them. Each is geocoded once from the place name you type — COOKED does not read your device’s GPS or track your position — and the resulting coordinates are used only to fetch the weather forecast that sets heat and humidity for hydration planning.
Messages you send in groups or direct messages are stored so they can be delivered, and they are visible to the people you send them to. Reported messages are readable by our moderators so we can act on the report.
Crash and error reports go to Sentry so we can fix what broke. They carry technical detail — screen, device, error — not the content of your logs, chats or health data.
We count key events — for example, that a weekly report was opened or an interview completed. Counts only, never content. We never log what you ate, what you told the coach, or any health value as analytics.
If you join the waitlist on this site, we store your email (via Netlify Forms) and use it only to send your invite and launch updates. Unsubscribe anytime.
Your data is stored in our secure cloud backend and processed by the providers that run it: Convex (database and backend), Auth0 (sign-in), Anthropic (coach and photo recognition), Apple (speech recognition and push notifications), Sentry (crash reports), and any training service you choose to connect, such as Strava or intervals.icu. When you log offline, entries queue on your device and sync when you're back online. Notification preferences and appearance settings stay on your device.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app or by email before it takes effect.
